I still find inspiration in the sea, the skies, the woods and landscapes. I spent most of those 40 year teaching and writing. When I started writing books for my grandchildren, I decided to try illustrating them myself and discovered the pleasure of painting. I sometimes work with charcoal, collage and ink drawing but usually come back to watercolour which is the medium I most enjoy using. |
