We have recently celebrated 40 successful years living, making and selling pots in the village. I make domestic pots including mugs, jugs, bowls, vases and lamp bases and often large, one-off exhibition pieces. Most of my work is handthrown on the wheel using porcelain or stoneware clay and I have both an electric and a gas kiln. I am particularly interested in glazes, textures and colour and most firings include new tests and experiments. My inspiration is gathered from the colours and moods of Norfolk, extensive travel and a lifelong interest in handmade ceramics both old and new. |
